Privacy policy

Last updated October 2026. This policy explains how BAZD M Group (Pty) Ltd t/a Bhekizizwe handles personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

What we collect

When you request a quotation or make a booking we collect your name, company name where relevant, email address, phone number, billing address, the addresses of your trip, your travel dates, the number of passengers and, for airport transfers, your flight number and arrival time. If you pay by bank transfer we also hold the proof of payment you upload.

Why we collect it

We use this information to prepare your quotation, to arrange and carry out the trip, to send your invoice and itinerary, to remind you before you travel, and to keep the accounting records the law requires us to keep. We do not use it for anything else without asking you first.

Card payments

Card and Instant EFT payments are processed by PayFast. We never see or store your card details. We receive only a confirmation that the payment succeeded, together with the payment reference.

Who else sees it

Your chauffeur receives the details needed to carry out the trip. Our payment provider receives what it needs to process payment. Google Maps is used to work out distances between the addresses you enter. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for marketing.

How long we keep it

Quotations, invoices and booking records are kept for five years, as required by South African tax law. Proof-of-payment documents are stored privately and are visible only to authorised staff.

Your rights

You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete anything we are not legally required to keep. Write to info@bhekizizwe.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. You may also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
